Let’s Learn Computers!

Lesson 1:
A file that has not been saved somewhere cannot later be restored – there is nothing to restore if there wasn’t a file in the first place. It’s kind of like walking into a bank, setting a $100 bill on fire, and then asking the cashier to “restore” your $100, only the bill you burned in the first place was Monopoly Money.

Lesson 2:
Sending big files to old plotters to be printed on over-sized paper will result in long plot times. This it not something that can be “fixed” – short of buying a whole new plotter. So be prepared to wait a few minutes.

Firefly - 15 episodes of awesome

Recently, Nadia and I started watching Firefly… It’s her first time through the Verse, and probably my fourth. A great little show – if a bit hard to explain to new comers – it was cut down in its prime, and resurrected only long enough to give us an amazing movie.

But I’m not talking about the movie – not yet. We’ll wait until Nadia has had a chance to see it before we talk about it, eh? That’s right – No f’ing spoilers.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Review

I had the luck to see the second Transformers movie at a midnight IMAX showing Wednesday; it’s taken me a day to recover from the Bayhem present in the movie, to again be able to form coherent thoughts and frame them intelligently through written language. Truly, this is not a mere movie but a spectacle of pure, unrefined Awesome(boom).

iPhone 3.0 Update Liveblog

5:22:29 PM: I’m going to annoy everyone on my Twitter thing by liveblogging the iPhone update. Yay technology!
